EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
3rd or 4th year Bachelor of Civil Engineering/Urban Engineering/ Mining and Process Engineering/ Metallurgy Engineering
(Eligible for WIL)

GENERAL INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Richard Newell, former chief scientist of the university of Cape Town as well as HR Wallingford and Marine Ecological Surveys ltd (UK) –experts on Environmental Hydraulics and on Marine Environmental related projects for offshore mining and marine dredging in international waters. This will give the interns, after their graduation, a pathway towards particular areas of specialisation at UK universities for their graduate studies while on attachment with our partner companies and become full time employees of climate dynamics upon completion.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should have good communication, teamwork, problem solving, self-management as well as planning and organising skills. The candidate must be technologically oriented with the ability to work independently and display initiative.
