We are pleased to announce the third and final call for applications to further your studies or to take up a staff exchange opportunity in selected high-quality universities in the European Union (EU) through the European Commission funded, Knowledge, Integration and Transparency in Education (KITE), programme.
KITE is a mobility scheme for academic cooperation between higher education institutions from the African-Caribbean-Pacific (ACP) regions and the EU. The call is open to Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) staff as well as students currently enrolled in Masters and PhD programmes at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST).
You are encouraged to take up this opportunity and spend one or two semesters at one of the EU KITE partner universities (click here for a list of partner institutions). It’s simple: pick a school, pick your courses, and apply online!
Scholarships offered through KITE cover travel expenses, insurance, tuition fees, and a monthly allowance. Interested persons are invited to apply online at www.kite.muni.cz/en/how-to-apply/.
Deadlines for applications:
If you submit your application by the end of October 2015, you can go to Europe for the spring semester in 2016 (runs from February through June). You can also apply for the autumn semester 2016 (runs from September through December), in which case the deadline is the end of December 2015. Don’t worry though - if you apply for spring 2016 and are not selected, your application will still be considered for autumn 2016.
