Multi-disciplinary Student Research Teams (MSRDT) Projects – Windhoek
In partnership with the Namibia University of Science and Technology: Adforce, Hospice of
Hope, Television Classified Advertisements Edition (TVCASE) and City of Windhoek.
30 x Students are required to participate in the various MSRDT projects

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
2nd and 3rd year students – Bachelor of Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics and
Statistics, Communication, Journalism and Media, Environmental Health Sciences, Bio
medical Sciences, Economics, Engineering Civil: Urban / Water Engineering

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECTS
1.”Readathon Save Water project”- City of Windhoek
2. “Investigating the properties/ingredients (alcohol content) in Tombo and its impact in
terms of social and psychological effect in the community” – Hospice of Hope (NGO)
3. “Research on Lifestyle Segmentation Marketing in Namibia” – Adforce
4.“Develop an application for the NBC TV decoder” - TVCASE

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates must have good communication skills (spoken and written English),
creativity, problem-solving skills, be technologically-oriented with the ability to work
independently and within a team.
