3rd year Bachelor of Property Studies
(Eligible for WIL)

GENERAL INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible to identify areas for new erven in consultation with the planning
division; facilitate the transfer of acquired property to the new owner through appointed lawyers; identify
needs and determine feasibility and viability for low cost housing projects; administer the leasing of all
municipal building and properties (formal and informal areas); render services to clients; and process claims
received from suppliers.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
To be successful, the applicant must have excellent communication skills; good interpersonal- and problemsolving
skills; be technologically oriented with the ability to work independently; display teamwork; able to
plan and organise; demonstrate trustworthiness and be hardworking; display good time management;
demonstrate a willingness to learn; display excellent conduct and be disciplined; and display a positive attitude
with a focus on customer satisfaction..
