General WIL/Internship Description
The successful intern will be providing support to various interventions within the SIGG Unit, specifically working in close collaboration with the GRICE and SEMER Programme and Projects’ staff in the office, required for solving complex project management, finance related issues and exchange of Information. The intern will therefore be responsible for supporting the Economic Advisor on basic research through data collection, and analysis on socio-economic issues and contribute to policy briefs, articles, talking points and opinion pieces.

Other Requirements
The successful candidate should have computers and office software packages knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, search engines), proficient English skills (Oral and Written), report writing, basic knowledge of climate change mitigation concepts, the SDGs, knowledge of poverty, human development and inclusive and sustainable growth issues and the ability to apply all these concepts to strategic and /or practical situations. In addition, the intern should have the ability to identify and make the most of opportunities, overcome and learn from setbacks, and succeed in a variety of settings.
