Masters or Honours students in the following: Commerce, Economics, Management or Business Administration, (If graduated, should have completed not longer than 6 months ago

General Internship Description
The successful interns will be responsible for conducting literature Review of relevant documentation for funding and financing of the Southern African NRM/ bio trade sector; mapping of the landscape of national, bio-lateral and international-public and private funds and forms of investment for the SA and Namibian Indigenous Natural Products sector and identify potential gaps; categorization of funding and financing mechanisms according to sector players; assist with the SWOT/PESTLE Analysis as described above; assisting with the conceptualization of training and awareness raising materials for sector players; assisting with stakeholder liaison as well as report writing.

Other Requirements
Successful candidates should have computer/IT skills competency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, search engines), knowledge of computerized accounting, interest in private sector development, proficient English skills (Oral and Written), proactive nature, as well as strong communication skills. The successful candidates must be willing to travel nationally and to South Africa, therefore a valid passport is required. Candidates should preferably be from SADC with a valid residence in Namibia.
