GRADUATE IN TRAINING REGULATORY AFFAIRS

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Graduate in Training: Regulatory Affairs, reporting to the
PACS Director. The role will be responsible for monitoring the regulatory landscape and engaging stakeholders to
mitigate business risks and threats.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the PACS Director to identify, prioritize and manage all key regulatory threats
facing the business. 
• Track and maintain a detailed awareness of the key regulatory issues facing the business and support the development of strategic responses as required. 
• Establish partnerships/relationships with provincial regulatory authorities to deliver quantifiable commercial value. 
• Monitor national, provincial, and local legislation on an ongoing basis and regulatory requirements identified, prioritized, and communicated to business issue owners. 
• Recommend political, business, and technical solutions/alternatives to drive and support business responses to regulatory developments. 
• Input into the development of Stakeholder Engagement Strategy. 
• Leverage existing relationships to develop partnerships to roll out country specific projects.

REQUIREMENTS
Tertiary qualification in Law, Politics, Public Policy, or Humanities related degree 
• High degree of Academic Achievement 
• Graduated within the last two years 
• Innovative 
• Self-starter. 
• Ability to demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills. 
• Good communication skills at all levels within and outside the organization. 
• Ability to pull key insights from information sources and develop appropriate responses. 
• This programme runs over 12 months, after which the
opportunity exists to be considered for a permanent placement in the company.
