Position: Investment Promotion Interns (x2)

Educational Requirements

  • 3rd Year Bachelor of Business Management, Commerce, Finance, Economics or Marketing (Eligible for WIL) (NUST students only)

General WIL/Internship Description

  • Assist with brainstorming potential business ideas in selected industries
  • Do research and perform analysis on specific sectors, potential projects, business ideas or policy issues
  • Package viable business ideas into easily communicable propositions
  • Produce content for promotional material
  • Build slide decks and write reports and letters
  • Assist with the organisation of local and international events
  • Arrange, and/or attend & take minutes at internal & external meetings
  • Monitor and report on progress of internal activities
  • Liaise with and support other NIPDB staff with their duties

Other Requirements

  • Ability to independently and effectively research relevant topics upon request and summarise findings in a simple and readable manner
  • Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to promote and sell an opportunity to a potential investor
  • Advanced computer skills (Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace Applications).
  • A good understanding of data privacy and confidentiality issues and standards.
