Internship Opportunity
Company: Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB)
Position: Investment Promotion Interns (x2)
Educational Requirements
- 3rd Year Bachelor of Business Management, Commerce, Finance, Economics or Marketing (Eligible for WIL) (NUST students only)
General WIL/Internship Description
- Assist with brainstorming potential business ideas in selected industries
- Do research and perform analysis on specific sectors, potential projects, business ideas or policy issues
- Package viable business ideas into easily communicable propositions
- Produce content for promotional material
- Build slide decks and write reports and letters
- Assist with the organisation of local and international events
- Arrange, and/or attend & take minutes at internal & external meetings
- Monitor and report on progress of internal activities
- Liaise with and support other NIPDB staff with their duties
Other Requirements
- Ability to independently and effectively research relevant topics upon request and summarise findings in a simple and readable manner
- Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to promote and sell an opportunity to a potential investor
- Advanced computer skills (Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace Applications).
- A good understanding of data privacy and confidentiality issues and standards.
