Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or BSc Hon Degree in Natural Science or Chemistry or a related qualification with at least 1 year experience
in science technology and research
• NUST Graduates only

General Internship Description
Conduct lab scale tests and prototyping to incorporate technical design adaptation needs identified in previous tests, executing
laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures and collecting, receiving, labelling samples. Ordering (quotes requests)
laboratory consumables, materials, and equipment. Organizing and storing chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases
according to safety instructions. Providing technical support, when necessary and keeping up to date with relevant scientific and
technical developments.

Other Requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), experience in interdisciplinary research-based activities, and the
proven ability to draft and review documents and reports. Good working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications,
knowledge and proficiency in data collection, processing analytical findings, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
